A handsome vintage Burberrys doctor bag in rich black pebbled leather, from the era when the house still carried its original "Burberrys" name. The classic rigid frame opening sits beneath a rolled leather top handle on brass fittings, and the front strap carries an embossed Burberrys logo and a brass lock, complete with its original keys on a leather fob. Inside, a beige Burberrys check lining is fitted with leather-trimmed organiser pockets, pen loops and zip compartments – a proper working bag with real heritage character.

Beautiful vintage condition. The black leather is still soft and supple with that lovely deep pebbled grain, showing only light surface scuffs after some refurbishment, the gentle character you would expect from a bag of this age. The rolled handle is strong and comfortable, and the brass lock and fittings have a warm vintage patina that really suits the piece. Inside, the Burberrys check lining is in good order with a few light marks inside the zip pocket and gentle softening at the corners, and all of the organiser pockets and pen loops are intact. A timeless British doctor bag with plenty of life ahead of it.
