Vintage Gucci GG Canvas Flap Crossbody Bag Circa 1981–1982 with Leather Lining

A lovely piece of early-1980s Gucci. This compact flap crossbody is the sort of bag that still feels special every time you pick it up: classic beige-and-brown GG canvas, warm brown leather trim, and that oval leather GG patch sitting neatly on the flap. Hands-free, easy to wear, and full of that recognisable Florentine charm.

It was made in Italy around 1981–1982. Inside you will find the gold GUCCI MADE IN ITALY crest plaque and the stamped serial 007.56.0087. The magnetic snap, gold G slider on the flap piping, and knotted leather strap with gold GG beads are all typical of this era — and they still look wonderful.

Stunning pre-owned vintage condition, honestly described. The canvas still reads beautifully, with some fading consistent with age. Leather corners show minor scuffing with rest of the trim showing stunning condition for its age. The interior leather lining shows staining and minor surface wear consistent with age and light use. Hardware has a gentle patina. A wearable, characterful vintage Gucci with all the right details intact.
